Symbolism:
In the movie “Smallfoot” (2018), in the movie’s introduction, Migo introduces us to their seemingly perfect world, attributing its harmony to the foundational laws etched in stones. These stones are interpreted and enforced by the revered Stonekeeper. We are shown Yetis gathered around a campfire, listening intently to the Stonekeeper’s tales. He insists that every piece of wisdom they need is inscribed on the stones. Migo elaborates with vivid examples: the creation myth where they all tumbled from the butt of the great sky yack, their island world floating on an endless sea of clouds, supported by colossal mountain mammoths. These mammoths require a steady diet of ice to stay cool, as overheating would mean death and the Yetis would plunge into the great nothingness. Migo’s favorite stone, however, is the one decreeing that the gong must be rung to awaken the great glowing snail, which then creeps across the sky to illuminate their village. The Yetis arranged in an arc around the campfire form the symbol of Islam, also known as the Mason symbol, emphasizing that they are being lied to. Click to watch the video clip.
In the movie “Barbie” (2023), a scene takes place on a picturesque beach at night, under a full moon. The atmosphere is serene, with the sound of waves in the background, and the beach is lit by multiple campfires arranged in an arc. The arc, together with the moon, forms the symbol of Islam, also known as the Mason symbol. The girls have devised a plan to feign enjoyment and enthusiasm for their boyfriends’ performance as the boys pour their hearts into their song, believing they have truly impressed the girls. Their goal is to reach the peak of the boys’ happiness and then abruptly take it away. This highlights that the Islamic symbol symbolizes a lie. Click to watch the video clip.
In the movie “The Addams Family” (2019), in an introductionary scene where Gomez and Morticia are getting married, a mob of angry neighbors show up with garden tools and torches to run the Addams Family out of town. They start launching fireballs with catapults at the Addams Family. The first one hits the bridge. The fireball above the bridge forms the symbol of Islam. Another fireball lands on the ground surrounded by stones arranged in arc shapes which also forms the symbol of islam. Click to watch the video clip.
